What are pronouns?

Pronouns are words used to replace nouns in a sentence, making the sentence less repetitive and easier to read. They can represent people, things, places, or ideas. Common types of pronouns include personal pronouns (e.g., he, she, it), possessive pronouns (e.g., his, hers, theirs), reflexive pronouns (e.g., myself, yourself), and demonstrative pronouns (e.g., this, that, these).
